Will a Colgan Custom Bra fit on the S2k if you have a AP2 front lip? How many owners are using a bra on the car for long distance trips/travel?

 

I dont think it will, I had a Colgan bra for awhile, dont bother
they will scratch your paint. The metal tabs you have to insert
between the body panels will also chip your paint. 3M is the
only way to go

 

I believe Colgan makes the front bra in a few different flavors - with/without front lip, with/without front license plate. I have the basic one, no lip or license plate, and I use it sometimes on long trips (and take it off immediately after). No ill effects to the paint, but you have to keep everything clean. Dirt will collect under it, so if you leave it on it will eventually start to scratch.

 

IF you want o avoid rock chips as OP said the 3m or Haartz clear bra are what you need. If youre like me and remember those big bullet proof bras that you could drop a log on and and not worry that's history! where are you located? Mayeb someone will chime in with a good clear bra vendor.
