clear cam cover

Default clear cam cover

Interested on a clear cam cover, i seen it on a evo with blue cam gears and it looks sick. red cam gears and clear cover sittin right up front would be nice =D

It wouldn't stay clear long as oil is splashed all over it's insides.

The evo was probably for display only.

actually they (excluding the evo x) have a timing belt still, so it only has a plastic cover over it. However we have a timing chain and our "cam cover" is our valve cover...

Yeah they make the clear one for the DSM's as well. I had adjustable cam gears on that one and was thinking of getting it to be able to see what it was adjusted to without removing all the time but decided against it.
S2000's would not work unless you somehow get a clear valve cover haha.

Actually, being that its oil, the "clear" wouldn't be stained unless there were contaminents.

Saw clear Valve Covers on an old Chevelle Once, said he had em for about a year, and they were still clear.
