What kills me is that the ACT clutch doesn't come with a release bearing. i think for 500$ thats a rip off

So if you plan on staying all motor I'm assuming that the stock clutch will suffice... But what about adding a 9-10lbs flywheel into the equasion??? Worth it at all on the low end?

I always figured that the Fidanza flywheels/ Exedy etc.. clutch setups went hand in hand. I'm sort of up in arms now over what I should do when mine starts slipping.

I like my competition clutch with 11lb flywheel. The clutch pedal is a tad stiffer, but still soft so daily driving isn't a problem. Clutch bites very well, engine feels like it revs instantly to 8k in a second, probably not that fast though

Clutch buzz happens mostly in 2nd gear, sometimes in 3rd on very light driving or low rev deceleration. An aftermarket exhaust, doesn't have to be loud, hides most of the sound but it is very obvious with the stock exhaust.

Rubn1out4GudLuk you are the only one who said you were using an AP1 14 pounder in an AP2. I do not know why anyone who wanted a lighter FW do any but this. It is 33% lighter and they must be easy to find. Is it a direct replacement no other mods?

I have the SOS with a 7.5 lb. flywheel.. I don't know the HP but boost gauge says 6 lbs. at full tilt.. This clutch is grabby very slightly in reverse, and is good as gold in forward.. Shifts are right now, and the clutch doesn't seem to slip at all.. Pedal effort is fine, similar to my wife's Subaru Outback, but I've never driven another S2K to compare. I've watched lots of videos of guys shifting their AP2's and I'd not keep that slipper thing on my clutch very long.. A guy told me his stock clutch had 125K miles on it and feels just like new..
Backing out the 30 feet or so, doesn't allow for fully engaging the clutch, and the grabbyness isn't really an issue, except if you don't pay a bit of attention.

I had a competition stage 4 and it was way to much for daily driving. So I switched to a stage 2 it felt great I have no complaints but then I switched to an act pressure plate with oem disc and I'm glad I did the change. It feels so much smoother

You guys with the Exedy OE setup with the fidanza flywheel sourcing it from ebay?
Does the pedal feel the same as the OEM one? -> the heavy duty? I ask because my mate bought one from ebay and it feels so soft...

Just getting ready to get the stage 4, what do you mean by too much?
