yes it definitely grabs harder and i was told that the pressure plate was the weaker part in the kit, so an upgrade to the ACT pressure plate gives a peace of mind that it wont give out if i shift hard or drive spiritiedly. the feel of the clutch is much stiffer, which i prefer. I stalled trying to leave the garage 3 times in a row haha.

the kit with the the ACT flywheel is 1075... the labor price depends on where you get it done.

i shopped around and found a few places that didnt even know what an s2000 was, hence the 500 dollars was not worth it. The place i got it done charged 700, they did it the next day, plus i worked there for a month just to learn more about cars, so i know and trust the work they do. ive heard quotes run between 400-800. i called Honda and they quoted $980 HAH! dont think so. they also quoted 900 for parts. if you want all OEM parts, get them from HandA or HTG. I think for all the stock parts its around 600 total. i figured why not upgrade while im at it. if youre gonna do something big, pay the money to do it right

if you're going to pay someone to put in a new clutch, you might as well throw in a flywheel as well and be done with it.. it's between 6-9 hours of work..so u might as well....I mean you don't have to change the flywheel
