Default coilovers! help needed

interested in getting coilovers for an s2k ap2 any suggestions for get a good drop without too much stiffness?? also would like to stay under 1500 or around? also adjustable on the car. suggestions please

ive heard that bilstein pss9's are pretty good. the tirerack carries them.

get springs + koni's. i cant think of many coilovers that are any good for under $1500

PSS9's

This is the vendor I bought my PSS9's from. Great service and price. Looks like they are running about $1400 shipped. They are only listed as fitting '00-'03, but I would give them a call to see if the coilovers will fit other years.

yea i only want to drop the car an inch or so. dont want to dump and scrape everything.

if you only want to drop an inch then why get coilovers? Just get a set of lowering springs and retain your factory shocks. You are going to spend a fortune on quality coilovers, suspension tuning, and corner weighting just to make the car reasonable, if not you'll find out that you've destroyed the ride and handling of your S.

you can't get too low without bumping up the spring rate

well, you can, but it's just gonna ride like sh-t

adjustable in term of what? all coilover is adjustable in term of height
