Default Coils for ONLY street use?

I read 12 pages of the OFFICIAL coils thread which didn't help at all. So I am asking for your HELP!!!

In the market for a set of coils for ONLY street use

I don't want a harsh ride and mainly looking for comfort.

Did a bit of reading and the KWV2/V3, BC, Teins caught my attention. The Bilstein seem to have gotten a lot of recommendations.

What would you recommend?

P.S. I like how the KW are made of stainless steel

Any coilover will ride smooth on the lowest setting.

There's a reason why the bilstein pss9 gets so many recommendations. Although the spring rates are higher than stock, they're so well damped that it rides smoother than stock. It's an excellent package, not excessively expensive, and the spring rates are almost identical to the CR spring rates. I'm very happy with them on my car.

I guess that depends on your definition of smooth...maybe the car as well.

My VR4, with the coilovers on their lowest dampening setting, is dangerous to drive. It's like a freakin' moonbounce.

tein flex or pss9's would be good for street use. but you should really go out to meets to either get ride or test drive other S with those coils on. that way you could actually feel the coil and maybe that would make your decision lot easier and faster.

if this is only for the street, why not just get springs and call it a day?

actually thats a good point. If someone only wants to drive on the street then coilovers should be the last thing they are looking at....
