And whar are better k&n fipk or PRM?
Clemsons2k, yes I mean the carbon fiber air ducts, such as mugen aintake...

And mugen intake is cost for it money? about 1000$.
Is it good when on spped air go to carbon canals to engine? Or better buy tube style? Where will be chaged sound and where will be changed power?
FIPK would be better. The PRM is loud as hell but it sucks up warm air. The FIPK has a heat sheild that makes it draw cooler air from the stock area and the fender a bit.

Any carbon intake isn't going to be worth the money as far as gains go. They are mainly for show. I'm not saying they dont work, but they won't provide any better gains than a non-carbon fiber intake. Carbon fiber and plastic are better for the canals of the intake. They don't absorb heat as much.

Jessright : I remember seeing a thread on here about gains on a dyno from the FIPK. The guy got 4.8 hp from it and the before/after pulls were done on the same day. The AEM V2 would probably only make a couple more hp than that. If even that much difference.

i call bs on that. its not just the prm that does, every intake is gonna take in warm air whether it be heat soak or however it does it. what are intakes good for? maybe 5 or 10hp? its not like putting an intake on the car is gonna make it uber fast and now you're ready to beat anything ever made. i chose the prm for looks and weight savings, dont base your opinion on "oh this intake makes 2 more hp than that one does" because you wont even feel it after its on.

Yea your right they all do suck up some warm air. I was just comparing the fact that the k&n has a heat sheild vs the PRM which is just open to engine bay air. And yes you won't feel a huge difference from an intake but thats not the point. The sound is a factor too. A lot of people buy the PRM because of the sound and looks. I never said one intake was better than another because it makes "2 more hp". Two horsepower doesn't mean anything in terms of a noticeable difference.

Lets not jump to conclusions here

Its all good man

Seems like the K&N is the crowd favorite. I do agree, its a good substitute for a cold air intake without the risk of hydrolock.

(it's custom)
I agree, and then you don't ever have to buy an exhaust, because you will never be able to hear it over this beast of an intake!

Loving the black valve cover, the yellow battery kills it...
