heard the apex were good too, I originally wanted the buddy clubs or the pss9s. just ordered the skunk2 coilovers cuz i liked how their springs rode. I think i could live with 10k/10k. thanks for all the input guys, I'll let you know how the skunks are in a few weeks, thanks

I roll on Tein comfort sports. And just like they are called, comfortable ride with adjustability to suit your needs.

Now they are a little over 1500.00, but not much.

funny how many people think turning the little knob on their damper will change it from soft to hard.

well, you can't change the spring rate by turning a knob, most of the low end coilover(relatively speaking) have a narrow band of change even tho' it has 30 or 45 ways of changes. A good percentage of the damper change only effective at certain damper speed, it's not perfectly linear(or anything close, to be honest)

controlling suspension travel with stiff spring is not the ulimate fix neither, factor in droop travel, camber change, etc

not dissing anyone into the slammed thing, i know it's personal thing and i can see some people would perfer the look over a well functional suspension

probably one of the worst coilover to get if you looking to "slam"

at 4k and 6k(again, ap1 baised rate), the spring rate is way to soft to control the amount of travel. It sounds like it will ride bumpstop all the time if you lower it more than "normal"

so what ur saying I am7head is that lowered vehicles don't perform? show me a Time attack or Drift car that isn't rocking low offsets and a lowered ride height and then u might have a point.

I didnt intend on "slamming" mine to begin with. I wanted an aggressive stance yet a good ride quality as well. At the stance mine is at it rides as good or better than the OEM stuff. I cant tell a difference. The cs's fall in between the premium and street products. They were designed to work with larger wheels and tires, so tein says. They may ride better for someone with aftermarket wheels. I dont plan on tracking or racing my setup, so comfort and adjustability were more factors to me. I havent even messed with the dampening settings yet.

Whats your idea of "slammed"? I have yet to feel my bumpstops at all.
