I installed this stage 2 clutch in my S yesterday. After an all day project, i took the car out and drove it.

Perfect, no noise. i drove about 10 miles city, shifting to break the clutch in.

i wake up this morning. drive to work. While driving, every time the clutch is engaged, i get some noise. Almost like it could be the clutch itself. This only happens when the clutch is engaged. I gave it a slight rev in neutral to see if the noise was still there and it's not.

The sound is almost like a rattling, but that makes it seem like a bolt is loose, but i dont think that is the case.

Has anyone experienced this?

 

i have the same clutch and i got some buzz at the beginning but it went away. id say give it at least 500 miles to see if it goes away.

how does the clutch feel now?

as soon as i get the clutch broken in, im putting my comptech kit on it!

 

ehh this clutch is wierd. in the morning when i go to work or when the car is cold the pedal is all loose and goes to the floor real easy. once the car warms up it gets normal. well a little stiffer than normal. but ive already changed the clutch fluid and all that but im not worried about it.

 

I have the same clutch and had the same noise for a while (clutch buzz). It has decreased over time. I also have the clutch pedal feel. It feels soft when I start out, but after warming it up it feels great. It's a clutch that likes the abuse in my opinion (persuades me to do it more). I also had some problems with reaally soft pedal feel when the clutch warmed up. Figured out it was my clutch line expanding and replaced it with a SS clutch line. Drives great now.

When I'm redlining through 2nd-3rd, it sometimes feel like it gets stuck. Feels like I have to use more force to pull it out of gear while shifting fast. Doesn't matter. Switching out to ACT 6 Puck soon with my mase kit. ;D
