yeah thank you for the suggestion on the intake. i am going to go k an n fipk. that looks like a solid intake cause hydrolock is not something i want at all...ever lol. i dont even want to have to worry about it lol. they seem to sound a heck of alot better then stock from the youtube videos that i have seen. its k an n, you cant go wrong. i like the heatshield as well. also have my 70mm invidiea test pipe on its way.

That intake and TP should be a nice combo. Don't forget to reset your ECU after the install...

I still like the CT but that FIPK is hard to beat for the $.

On a side note:
The oil filter and drain plug can be accessed very easy from the engine bay with the stock air box pulled out and the FIPK installed. All you need is a short drip pan that will fit under the car.

PRM would probably work well with a heatshield like the K&N has.

comptech dyno

K&N FIPK dyno
I don't see the dynos???

Yes, the PRM with a heat shield like the K&N would be nice.

comptech is a nice intake, but its real expensive. I really dont like the foam filter either. Is there any way to switch out the foam filter for say like a k&n filter?

Are there any benefits to a foam filter? Do they flow better at the expense of filtration? Both Mugen and Spoon filters are foam, so I would think there's some advantage...?
