I've seen all of the "mods" that people have tried in order to get the MY06+ seats into their pre-MY06 S2000s. But the one mod I haven't seen mentioned is one involving the Bulletproof Automotive Backyard Special Seat Rail.

Seeing as how the Backyard Special seat rails only come in one flavor I began to wonder how possible it would be to mount MY06+ seats into pre-MY06 S2000s. I realize that you have to recycle parts from your original seat but I'm a bit fuzzy on which parts and their effect on the whole setup.

Can any of you guys with the BYS rails offer some insight? What sort of impact do the original parts have on the mounting of the BYS rail? Do you think it would be possible to merge the BYS rail and MY06+ seat into a pre-MY06 S2000?
