Considering lowering

Too dropped? The Espelirs only drop 0.2 in the rear more than the S-techs. The front is actually higher than the S-techs. By 0.1 more.. I dont think its too dropped. I dont think its too low at all.. I completely disagree with you. Plus I have very agressive offset on my wheels and its not too much. If anything, I'd drop the front about 0.3 of an inch more.
Its 1.3 all around but seems to settle lower.
on my previous car, '97 prelude, I was running Koni yellow struts with Skunk2 coilovers. I know the Koni struts were a pretty good investment and the coilovers really allows you to adjust how high or low you want to go.
Before I got the coilovers, I had regular Skunk2 springs. They were waay too low for me and seemed like a harsher ride than with the coilovers.
I would probably save my money and go with some type of coilver setup instead of springs again, but thats just me

I currently have the KW V3s on my S. I probably wouldn't recommend this to someone who just wants to drive on the street, as it is not the most comfortable set-up for everyday. It kicks ass on the track though.
I use to have eibach prokit on stock shocks, and the ride was pretty good. It was definitely harsher than stock, but still pretty good. The cost for the springs is not bad either. Best of luck.

I have the Eibach prokit with stock shocks and it did not lower a whole inch. The ride is similar to stock though. I am going to get a set of Koni's installed on Saturday, and I may use the lower perch. I hope to get rid of the floaty feeling that seems to have come when the Eibach's were installed.

how long has it been since you installed the pro-kits? & did you preload the suspension before torquing everything down???
I say Neuspeed - they give a 1.5" drop which makes the car look like it should have always looked. They ride nice - a good progressive spring, only slightly stiffer than stock. I've had mine for over a year and they look and ride perfect.
The stock shocks are very capable of handling a good aftermarket spring, but i reckon 1.5" drop is about max - anymore, and you would probably need coils
