i just did the installation from 2000 soft top (plastic) to 2008 soft top (window) and i have 2 straps that are connected to the last frame crossbar (nearest to window) with the spring tensioners....where do those strap hook suppose to hook to? is it suppose to be connected to the 2nd or 3rd bolt that the soft top connects to the car (trunkside)? this frame helps support the rear glass....

Hi, the straps are to hold the top down when it is lowered. Modifry sells a set of these for the one that are worn out on his site modifry.com it may help up hook the ones u got.
