Yeah that is cheap but doesn't direct the air to the filter nearly as well but not bad for the money at all I bet.

Ive also removed the black plastic that is in between the bumper and the radiator, i had my bumper off at the time so decided to do it
The whole point of that plastic divider is to direct air up into the intake, otherwise the air just scatters to the radiator. The aut cooling plate helps force air into the intake when used in conjunction to the stock divider.

So your saying I should leave the divider in there?

Yeah honda put it there for a reason. The aut just helps force the air into one direction but the divider in front of the radiator the tool that helps the air even get up there.

The black stock "cooling plate" piece thing does not direct air up to the intake. It keeps the air going through the radiator. If you leave that on and put an AUT cooling plate the cooling plate will be useless. Remove the stock radiator plate if using an AUT cooling plate!!

Are you guys talking about this piece?

If so I removed that as well as that blocks the air from getting to the AUT cooling plate. That is made to force the air through the radiator instead of escaping up and out before going through the radiator. There is no issue removing this and I do not think a single person has overheated from removing this and not getting enough air to the radiator.

it you look at the design of that plastic radiator piece is is angled in such a way that air moves up into the intake otherwise why would honda put it there?
