I've had that plastic piece off for about 4 yrs now. Ever since I got the sorkle. I was gonna cut it in half and put it back on but am waaaaaaaaaay to lazy to do so.

There has been no ill effect by not having it in place. I wanna get rid of my snorkle and go the AUT plate and k&n fipk.

What does the fipk stand for anyways ?

Nope I took mine off without removing the bumper. Was a pain I think though. I was able to basically just rip it out once all bolts were removed and it did not break at all or anything.

I think I might have last summer but can't really remember. Was not bad at all though. I never got any heatsoak when in florida last month. Got stuck in traffic in Orlando for an hour and a half and never got any heatsoak at all.

I also have 4.77 gears so down low that probably makes heatsoak not quite as noticeable.

Hummm might go that route, been thinking about them .77's also, not quite sure yet.

You n/a or boosted. Im thinking I wanna go along the lines of boosted, so im staying(trying) away from gears right now, til I make my choice.

I'm NA but plan to go with a ctsc kit. I want to keep the gears for the lower end power and have the sc kit for high rpm's unless I go over 350 whp then I will get rid of the gears for sure.
