well if I get a giant front one like the saner, grendon, or cusco, I am worried about to much understeer, then I might consider picking up the my00-01 rear sway bar to neutralize it, but then again maybe the better route would be to go with the cr bars front and rear, compared to an 03 (which is what I have), the cr front is supposed to be 36% stiffer and the rear 10% softer to get rid of some oversteer tendencies (if anyone can confirm this it would be great)...plus they are supposedly lighter than any aftermarket sway bars.

Has anyone with an 02/03 put on a large front bar like the cusco and got a little too much understeer? Also, I take it those bars quote 120-150% increases they mean literally 120-150% over stock, not 20-50%? so the CR front bar would only be 36% over stock not 136% correct?

But then again I just worry that combo won't be enough front increase for autocross purposes, but the cusco with stock rear 03 bar will have too much understeer. Eventually I plan to get some KW coilovers and be able to dial all this how I like, but until then I would like to do it right with the sways bars while I have the stock suspension, yet not spending $500+ on an adjustable front sway bar and putting that money towards the KW's...

Subscribed. 2003 with 225/255, stock sway bars and suspension. Thinking about stiffening the front sway.

I've been thinking of getting the CR front sway bar with use along with my '00 rear. I will be running 235F 255R rear tires, X brace, Buddy Club RSD coilovers, and Megan toe control arms (zero toe rear setting). Does this sound good on paper?

Also, will a stiffer front sway bar hurt braking performance on uneven pavement?
Sways don't really impact braking...they impact cornering.

That set up should be ok for the street. But you may want a touch of toe-in at the rear to help stability.

You will want at least a Saner for autox. You can use tire size and pressure to tune out too much understeer if the softest setting on the Saner is still too stiff. The KWs will allow you to tune the balance even more.

if I can't find the saner, would the cusco be the next stiffest available? Should I leave the 03 rear sway alone, I think it is in between early ap1 and ap2 bars in stiffness.

You could always get a Whiteline front bar and get an AP2 rear sway bar. Thats what Im doing. I just bought a AP2 rear bar for 55 dollars shipped

The front Whiteline is an improvement, but it should have been more stiff. The AP2 rear sway bar isn't as stiff so it'll basically be like getting a big front sway bar.

Muz was out last time I checked, but there is a seller on ebay with them. Its legit, thats where I got mine.

EDIT: I also found some Saner s2k bars on ebay, but not sure if they're legit. Never seen one so I couldn't tell from the pic.

If I find a Saner, I will leave the stock rear, if I get the cusco I will get the ap2 or cr rear bar to give the rear more traction, less wheel lift.
