Default cr wing install

I searched and come back empty. Does the cr wing come with dimensions on where to drill holes?? Most people eye ball it. How does one know the placement on the lid without being to high up or too low? Buying the cr lid is not an option.

Find the spot where the CR pedestals PLASTIC COVERS are flat or flushed with the trunk lid. Just go as far back as you can (still making sure the bottom of the pedestals plastic covers are still flushed with the trunk lid). Center it off from right to left. Remove the plastic covers from the metal pedestals and mark your holes.

Just out of curiosity why is buying a cr lid not an option?

As for the mounting, you want to be pretty darn precise otherwise what good is a wing that is canted or off center?

Also do you have truck reinforcement plate, upgraded trunk spring and the rubber trunk stops

The cr wing setup is pretty heavy and can bow or dent the non cr trunk

Thanks s factor. And. Because im balling on a budget and everyone says the lids only 400 and dont take into account nobody will ship it due to size and if they do its freight at 150 buck. So ill take my chances drilling a d reinforcing myself.

Yes. When my used CR wing came and was already mounted on a non-CR trunklid, the trunklid was dented.

Do note that this the trunklid was NOT reinforced.

Suzuka, no offense but ALL of this has been covered with the exception of the template issue.
