Default Cruise Control Delete Panel (for steering wheel)

Has anyone made a 3D printed (or whatever) plate to screw in place over the opening where the cruise control controls are?

Not talking about the one on the dashboard, but the Resume/Set/Cancel switch on the right side that's held on by two screws. Looks like it'd be a simple piece but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone's already made one. I was going to ask a buddy with a 3D printer to make one up for me.

This must be your lucky day

I've got a European plastic rear panel, which mounts to the rear of the steering wheel. The cruise control panel is not punched out of it. It's a direct fit to our wheels and would be perfect for what you are looking for.

If you want it let me know and I can send it to you. Shoot me a pm. I guess they didn't have cruise control in the country where it originated from ? This is a rare part, I would just need a few bucks to cover shipping if you are interested.

Zeroptzero,

I know this is an old post, but I was curious if you still have the delete plate that you mentioned in the above post?
