Default Cusco 6pt on ap2?

About to pull the trigger on this next month but after some research, people are saying it's going to have to be modified for it to fit in the passenger side. Any thoughts or experience with this?

cusco says it doesnt fit 06+. so if u have 04-05 you should be fine. all it says is some modification required on 06-09

Im unsure of AP2 fitment but i do have one in my AP1. The only way i would see the cage not fitting would be due to the upper part of the AP2 doorpanel which i beleive is more bulky. On the passanger side on my AP1 it fits VERY snug up against the dash and door panel to the point of where it leaves a mark on my door panel and dash from rubbing. if u do a search i beleive you can find pics of the said marks or tight spaces. Good luck man

i believe the issue is on the passenger side for 06+ ap2 since the i know the seats rails are different because the floor design was changed. . you would have to cut the bracket that goes by the back of the seat rail and weld it back.

2 options. Cut bracket, bend and reweld to use all 3 mounting bolts or cut the bracket to fit with a hacksaw and simply use 1 mounting screw ( if its just for looks this is the cheaper option and allows you to install right away.)

Why would you buy a cage that isn't allowed on a us racetrack?

That picture of the S with just the rear portion of the Cusco, that rolled. The bars stayed in tact and not "bent". Pretty assuring.
