Well if you're really planning to get a cusco/exedy hyper single(cusco is a rebranded exedy) then you should know that they're both include 6 puck clutches and puck style clutches are known for their stiffness and are really tough to drive as a dd. I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just going to really suck in traffic (if that really applies). But hey some ppl like it stiff and others like it soft .

IMO the Exedy hyper is a bit much for the DD. I have had the clutch in my car (along with a few others over the years) for a few months and it will chatter on de cell and is like an on/off switch to engage. You can feather it for smoother operation but, you will shorten the life of the 6 puck disc.
It is a very good clutch but, it is not meant for a lot of street use and IMO way more clutch than you will need unless you have a high boost motor.

A better choice for an N/A 06 car is a Spec light pressure plate, a Spec stage 2 full friction disc or OEM disc, and a 14 pound AP1 flywheel.

The Spec

Get an ORC if you want the best. Its mad expensive but it drives so well. Ive driven other re-engineered stock clutches ie ACT and this thing beats them by far. The only issue is that it chatters when you have the clutch engaged. Whatever, better than a sequential.

That would be over kill for a DD that clutch is for a sponsord race car or a baller with very deep pockets
