Default Cusco Roll Bar Hack and Slash

So i want a roll bar and harness bar. But let me say this now im not looking for the "oh get a welded bar" etc or people will laugh at you for your fake bar/ unsafe bar" I spcifically want it for APPERANCE ONLY" dont plan on tracking the car and if i do i will put a welded track approved bar in.

But on to the real reason of this post I want a Cusco 6 point bar; however i do not want the 2 front bars that extend down to the driver and passenger foot well. I know i can get a 4 point but o love those arching bars over the top its pure sexy to me when the top is down(please no hitting your head on them messages). So I want those. So do you guys think its possible to cut the downward bars off at the top after you bolt it to the sunvisor area? A guy like me wants to keep my leg room and rest my foot on the dead pedal.

I've always wanted the 6-point but the lost of leg room & the secret compartment is a deal breaker for me. But if you cut it at the sun visor area, there will be nothing to support it from collapsing down on you. You will have to rig something up & bolt it to the pillars.

Are you sure there isn't an easier or cheaper way to make a fool of yourself? Maybe some shocker decals? The effect would be the same, I assure you.

Yea the car is already small and i dont want even less room. Also thats what I was thinking as well. Wasnt to sure it would hold with just bolting at the visor. Oh well i guess a 4 point could work.

so what about the version that goes thru the dash instead. u keep the leg room and i think u can still rest your foot on the dead pedal http://image.importtuner.com/f/30053...cusco_cage.jpg

I believe the end point of the bar is still the same only difference is one curves around the dash and it makes it blocks the dash controls. The other of course goes through the dash cleaner look doesnt block dash controls but still bolts infront of the dead pedal and thus losing leg room.
