Default Custom Armrest Pad

So the padding on my arm rest was basically gone and my elbow would hurt when I would drive so I took the center console out and tore off the old leather. I had an old door panel that was bad so I had some extra leather that I used. Here is a middle step in the process and the finished uninstalled picture.

I can take a finished and installed picture tomorrow when I have a chance.

If you want a detailed writeup let me know.

This is in an AP1 without the removable center piece.

Nice DIY.

I'm toying with the idea of wrapping some interior pieces in alcantara, elbow pad included. There's nothing wrong with mine, just a little bored.

If the AP1 arm rest cover is glued/welded on and you have to cut it off, how do you get it back on? I was gonna do this today.
