Yeah that exhaust looks like ass and probably makes your ears bleed. No thanks. I am all for DIY and custom parts but not for home depot junk.

add another Vband and some mandrel bent angles and it's roughly $400. The above pic is a $20 solution... not a stainless steel version.

Point is, you could do it yourself and save money, do it cheap and save a ton of money, or just buy it already done.

Everything is tig welded. I appreciate all the feed back. I'm now satisfied with the price and can live with it.

I did the entire turbo build/clutch myself which saved a lot of money, so I don't mind forking out some dough on labor for something custom.

Its refreshing to see some one understand that a well done custom set up will actually cost money.

$900 is completely fair considering it is hand made and custom fit to your liking.

When you say "pretty reputable" I'm hoping you're understating things. The price sounds fair, for a shop that is absolutely solid. After sale service and support is as important as the intrinsic value of the item. It's great that you're opting for a bespoke system, it makes the car all that much more personal when done right.

Ditto on pics.

It's one of the best, if not the BEST and most reputable shops here in Maryland. I'll just come out and say its Charm City Tuning. Mike Sweeney is a hell of a tuner and owns the shop. His fabricator is also one of the best.

My car is there now and should be done by next week. Pics will be up, you can check out my build thread in the forced induction section titled mportracer33 build thread.

I assume this will be made out of high quality pipe and parts...if so, then $900 is cheap! There will be quite a bit of time involved in creating your exhaust and not particularly easy work either. I would like to see some pics when done and hear some audio as well. Keep us posted!
