Just like to share for anyone that would like to tint their taillights one day and still keep it legal. In my case I painted my taillights red and the reverse lights lit up pink. I decided to disable them in the taillight and wire up an led in the tow hook cover. Bought the "eagle eye" LED from ebay and I have to say, it's pretty damn bright!

i have something similar but its not a reverse light. its my rear fog light. i would've done it differently cause your light really sticks out! do like what i did, 7 waterproof leds inside the tow cover. after all was done i just touched up with touch-up paint. its on a harness thats about 7inches long if the need to remove the cover arises.
