Default Custom tail lights?

So recently i saw some pictures of tail lights where both of the lights are red (shown in the pictures).
ive really taken to this and want to do it, however im not sure how it would have been done, whether they used a red film over the white tail light or replaced the white cover for a red one or bought it completely custom? plus there is the added problem of where the reverse light would then go.. any ideas or info would be much appreciated

if you red the tread you would realize that it should be avoided because of how delicate the lens is. It's not like baking the headlight would most likely crack or chip.

The first picture is a Photoshop i did. it's not real. You could achieve this look with a simple vinyl film over the lens or vht tint spray paint

That silver S2k in the video with the custom LED rear tails was made by Jordanksartell (member on here). They were really nice, but sadly someone stole them off his car. He put alot of time into making those tails, he hand-soldered a ton of led's into those fixtures. If anyone sees lights like that in the Tennessee region hit up Jordanksartell.

Wow sucks to hear someone stole something that obviously took the owner countless hours to create. As for the idea, it looks great IMO and you do truly get something unique. Props to you if you venture on with this project, as for me doing a custom HID job on a bugeye wrx was more than enough fab work for my lifetime haha.

is it that much more difficult to take apart the tail lights then headlights?

ive taken both apart before and it feels about the same difficulty. although ive never broke anything.

IMO tailights are much harder to open than healight. The seal on tailights is so hard even with a heat gun!
