Default Daylight running lamps

Hi all,

Just picked up an 04 s2k. 38000 miles all original, no accidents. I live in Canada and it was originally a US car. Its had an odd DRL setup when it was imported where it keeps the parking lights on at all times. I'm hoping to do a proper DRL setup with the high beams on at 50%.

I read the old posts on doing a proper setup, but cannot find the Hamsar 45060 DRL Module. Does anyone know where i can find this, or something that would work as a substitute?

Thanks in advance!

This is the DRL setup I was referring too.

If you cannot find the Hamsar unit, this is a "lights off" configuration for COB LED bars that I used.

But wouldn't this keep the high beams on at 100% rather than 50% reduced output.

The DRL LED are on when the lights are off. They are off when the lights, any lights, are on.

Good info! I had my LED lights for a while now and finally going to hook it up in the same way, but with a 3 position switch, on-auto-off.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping to use the high beams as drl but will consider the led option.
