Default DeatschWerks Injectors

Alright, so these injectors look reasonably priced, and are based off Denso units, so that's a bonus. The only problem is, I have read many mixed reviews about these injectors for other applications (GTR's, Silvias, Turbo'd Hondas, etc). Who has long-term experience with these in their S2K, and what are your thoughts? I understand that they start with all the same OEM Denso (Same as RDX, 410cc?) units, and then modify these to achieve higher flow rates. To be honest, I'm not confident in drilling out and modifying injectors that have been developed, tested, and manufactured by one of the largest names in the automotive industry (Denso). Also, can anyone confirm that their 450cc units are not drilled units, and are indeed just a lightly modified Denso/RDX unit? If so, I wouldn't be as worried.

Edited to replace "Bosch" with "Denso", to avoid spreading wrong info

They turned into a plasma cutter and cut the piston on my friends SR20DET in half lol, not really but they did take a good chunk out of one of the pistons. But that was the only complaint Ive ever heard/Seen.

I ran them on my Subaru years ago with absolutely no problems. They are probably one of the more popular injectors on the Subaru forums. This was years ago and they seem to be making them for far more cars now so maybe some level of quality has gone down due to increased business?

I'd probably buy again though if I needed them.

Ive read of multiple problems with them, including that flow has gone down by up to 40% in less than four months of driving.

Quick way to blow an engine.

I'm a sales rep for DW, so I'll try to answer any questions I can without "soliciting".

Our injectors for the K-series and S2K F-series are manufactured in our DW owned OKC facility to our specific flow rates using new Denso housings and coils.

Each injector is flow tested and QA tested several times before being matched in balanced sets to within 2% of each injector in the set.

We take a lot of pride in what we do. And we do our best to insure that a quality product goes out every time.

Things do happen, and that's why we have our industry leading 1-year warranty for our injectors and 3-year for our in-tank pumps. Our customer service is one of the best in the aftermarket industry.

If you do decide to go with the RDX injectors, you'll need connectors. We have the correct ones available.

Thanks for that info LowFlyin, much appreciated. About the RDX units... I already found the 11 to 14 mm adapters to fit the factory rail, and also the true plug and play OBD2 clips. What else would I need? Different length fuel rail studs? I have a Flashpro, so I'm ok for tuning.
