Default Decat with CEL fix

Guys

Just threw on a garage-R decat pipe, with built in CEL fix (I guess this is just the welded flange on the side the sensor bolts up to).

Problem is I still get an engine check light. Shouldnt this just be: unbolt the cat and remove the sensor, switch in the new pipe and re attach the sensor. Enjoy. (no gaskets to change or anything?)

Can someone help please?

just add a couple spark plug defoulers to the bung, then bolt the sensor back in...theyre like a dollar at auto part stores

just so you know, the '06 and above are more sensitive to readings, even with a CEL fix they are known to throw the CEL, even if you add another defouler. It may work for a few weeks or months but you will eventually get the code back. There is a defouler out there the has a filter built into it but it's like $50 or more, you can try puttting some SOS pad fibers into your defouler, that will act as a filter and may stop you from throwing a code. good luck
