Diff oil queston

Default Diff oil queston

Im planing on Changing the Diff oil the S2. When i went to the dealer to get the oil they gave me 80-90 is that ok to use.

When i searched on the site everyone using 75-90.

Also they gave me Dot 3 brake oil is that fine too or should i get Dot 4 ?

Diff. =you need 75W90 GL-5.
Brake fluid=get the Ford DOT-3

Actually the correct diff oil is a straight 90W. Hard to find if at all. The Amsoil 75/110 SG diff fluid spec is closest to the 90W.
