Diff Oil
About to change all oils again and decided to read up again to see if any new info has appeared.
Reading through old threads and there seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions on various aspects of the correct Diff oil for the S's LSD.
This thread questions whether the Motul 300 gear oil is suitable for the S's Diff based on the fact that the Motul 300 bumf states that it isnt suitable for a diff with an LSD (about halfway down the page Shopman throws the question into the mix)
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry9510934
but this thread (near the bottom with MikDys's statement) suggests that a Non-LSD hypoid oil should be used on the S's Diff due to it being clutch-less.

I fear taking my Dealers opinions on board as being gospel as there are loads of threads on here with clueless dealers giving incorrect information resulting in damaged cars.
So; What's the score with the S's LSD; Which oil is appropriate? I'm confused.

The Torsen (or Linda as I call her) doesn't shear the oild as much as the C&P and no, there are no clutches.
Any EP-rated 90 viscosity oil ought to do it.
It needs changing frequently though!

I used Castrol EPX (75W90??), available from Hellfrauds and did it myself...I don't trust the dealers!

LOL, I bottled it with the Redline when ordering
Ended up deciding to give Motul a try after all the rave reviews I've read about it.
One thing that has really jumped out is the price hike in oils in general since last September when I last bought a load.
I ended up going for this lot which worked out at
