Default differential gear for ap2 na

Hi,i have an ap2 na and i want a 4.44 or 4.77 differential gear, i never race it and drive it only on city. I want real world opinion from member that install it on ap2 only,i know that is perfect on ap1 but on ap2, it seem to be controversial. I see treads from people the said it like it and other said its a bad move. I want to install RX8 4.44 or KIA 4.77. Thank you for your feedback.

4.77 on a ap2 will mean you have to shift like CRAZY, 4.44 are decent, but you want the 4.56's! i heard there great but no one makes them anymore ):

I have 4.77 on my AP1 and it is defiantly a love and hate option. From what I have read about 4.77 on AP2, i here nothing but negative feedback on it. So listen what people are telling you about 4.77.

Why not go with a final drive reduction? You can do it with the trans still in the car! 8% reduction on a stock AP2 is effectively like a 4.43 diff. Cheaper too!
