Just keep your springs. You never know when they'll come in handy.

 

Try cutting your valve springs since you're at it

 

when u see a civic bouncing on the road.. that will be you in your S if you cut ur springs.

lol i actually have spare springs and im sitting on tein springs in the rear and GC coils in the front. do it.. have fun and tell us abotu is cause i might want to do it to if it works out good in the back. goodluck. if u needed help i can help u i have a auto shop. but im in chicago lol
