I'd like the driver's door on my S to open wider. Anyone have any ideas or solutions. The door stop arm neeeds to be ~1/4" to 1/2" longer.

You can always fabricate a double hinge like the Door Hinges on the Mercedes CL coupes. I can't describe what it looks like but IIRC, the door goes OUT almost 90 degrees, and the door itself swings up to 60 degrees on THAT hinge. You may have to google it. I'm sure there's other cars that have this feature, that's the only one I've seen.

you could rip off the little plunger thing that holds the door on...but if its windy watch out cuz it'll rip the door straight past 90 into your fenders...

It's a huge door. When you open it, it first moves away from the car laterally, and then it swings like a normal door at that point. On previous body stlyes it was 70~ish degrees IIRC, but I think the new one s swing wider.

The S2000's doors and opening would make it really hard to get in Lambo stlye not to mention Lambo doors on anything but a lambo is LAME

 

lambo doors so played out even lambos don't have it anymore lol haven't you seen that picture of the lambo at the gas station lol
