Do you guys feel s2000's should add a rear spoiler/wing to create downforce for fun/safe driving. I will spend plenty of time over 80 MPH, should I for sure be buying something for down force or what do you guys think? If so... is the seibon CF unit enough or is there something else I should be looking at. Any pictures of Red S2000's with a spoiler/wing would be great. Thanks! Looking for something that functions well but also looks nice.

 

If your looking for real advice on which spoiler provides x amount of downforce/performs best, i would suggest the "racing and competition" forum. THose are the guys that would have specific answers in that regard.

Ive got a pretty stock AP1 and IMO the front looses traction at high speed before the rear. Im gonna get a front lip and possibly a splitter before I think about a wing

 

Evan is right. Control the lift at the front, then work on the rear. Save your money. The Honda upgrade CR and Optional front dams are both excellent. Particularly with a splitter and canard.

 

what kind of high speed driving are you doing and where are you doing it? wings aren't a one size fits all proposition.

 

doesn't even seem like a necessity for you. Most of the time I don't see any purpose in s2ks with a gigantic wing that aren't being tracked.

yep. get fatter tires if you feel like you are losing control.

but if you're losing control of the car at 80mph on the fwy....you might want to get some things checked out...or consider another car.

 

Always thought that big spoilers on street cars, except for the most extreme instances, is total rice. The s2k doesn't need a wing...
