Since I have an iphone I'm thinking about going with this idea, once I get an aftermarket wideband

http://www.devtoaster.com/products/rev/

I like the idea of it being smaller and sleeker. I really don't like the idea of having a dvd screen distracting my driving. I'll probably fab up a holder in an undecided location (not the pillar)

Sweet sounds like an all inclusive bad ass combo as long as you get the required sensors. Thanks for the quick response.

i hope your motor is ok and keep up the nasty number producing work.

Thanks for the condolences and taking notice. I hope to fix it soon too. I miss driving it.

As far as the data on the screen, as long as the AEM serial gauge can display it, so can the DD - at the same speed as having the laptop hooked up. and as many parameters you can fit on the screen. I don't know what to do with all that info! , you can also datalog on the fly too, with a touch of a button and save it on the flash. It gets formatted into an excel file which is nice. But you can also datalogg with the EMS if you prefer, just another option. The support is really good too. I highly recommend them

@ whiteflash, That looks like a pretty nifty application. I hope it works well with an EMS too, that would be awesome. Is it wireless too? That would be really cool!

I'm not sure by "dvd screen", you mean the norm 7". The Dashdaq screen is more comparable to a Navi size screen (4.3"), not much bigger than the iphone.

So if this would be distracting to you, so would be the iphone IMO and should probably stay away from any displays including navigation. I actually like being able to see the Digits at a glance without having to search for them. (of course depends on the skin you use also. I created mine for more function and good visibility). I actually rather have the unit displayed near the bottom in the center of the windshield, so I can better see it! (it doesn't get in the way of your sight either, just the sight of you're hood. Unless you're shorter than 5 ft (and if you are, no offense )

whiteflash ya i was gonna get that myself. but after looking into it. i use my iphone too much to be plugging it in and turning on the app and then connecting wirelessly every time i get in the car. i like somthing thats a lil more stationary/perm. plus being able to customize DD is just insane.

Ya Sarek i have only ever rode in 1 S2k before. im currently trying to buy my first one. Im dying to drive it. i cant imagine how you feel right now.

hm, what it reads is here, not sure if it'd be more accurate for kpro users to look at the honda or the acura list (nvm, both the same):

damn, might get this instead of the tunerviewII...

lol, not yet. But one of the guys is thinking of getting the Mase DBW kit.

The only problem I see (if I'm assuming correctly) is that when I plugged the DD into my OEM ECU on the S2000 and my wife's '01 Civic, the refresh rate was a little slow and was even slower when there were multiple parameters being shown. making it almost useless for boost/afr/rpms/etc. And it's not the DD fault obviously. it was the rate that the OEM ECU was sending out... maybe the Kpro changes this?

I haven't tried it yet with the DBW, except to clear codes.

I'll update any info if I come across a Kpro setup

but as far as AEM goes, it works awesome.
