Default Drive shaft spacers

so iv been doing research and have been seeing driveshaft spacers on a bunch of peoples builds. what do these do exactly? are they necessary? please give me the low down on these!

If you're lowered, you MIGHT need spacers. If it starts vibrating then use spacers or swap the buckets from left to right. Spacers just readjust the position of the axle in the bucket to a new position

More than you ever wanted to know. In summary, if you are handy with a wrench you can swap the buckets and get the same effect. But, they exist to fix a problem. If you are lowered and not feeling vibration from a pitted bucket, then don't give them a second thought.

Autozone has lifetime warranty drive shafts. After core return I think both cost me $140, and I can always get new ones for free now.
