can someone tell me what the f@#k "drone" means? i hear and see it all over the place and people complaining about it. i have no idea what it means.

its the noise loud exhaust makes when at a cruising rpm. it is undesirable to most.

Drone is the tuba-like sound an exhaust system makes at lower rpms. Particularly, large throttle inputs at lower rpms amplifies the problem. Nearly all aftermarket exhausts have this to some degree.

and our 3" single is made to cancel out the drone frequency that the s2k's produce.

hahaha i guess that helps. but i drive daily and i dont hear this "drone". maybe im just used to it.... so does the berk 3in single or the invidia q300 single have drone? or is it just all exhaust like what deepbluejh said. what about a custom straight pipe?
