I knew his name has something to do with bomber. Anyways I've heard the lips he sells fit pretty damn good. I would go that route.

Before I say anything else, I want to make it clear that I have no regrets at all about buying my eBay OEM lip . If I had to do it all over again, I would.

That being said, the lip I got from eBay had a few problems:

#1 - It was folded in two places to fit in the box it was shipped in. When I recieved it, I had to leave it out in the sun for about 2 days before it straightened out. The creases from the folds went away, thankfully.

#2 - Even after leaving it out in the sun, it still had gaps where it met the front bumper...but it was nothing a little 3M automotive double-sided tape couldn't solve.

#3 - My body shop guy told me that he had to do a lot of prepwork to get it painted right, as there were tons of imperfections on the lip. (He's a bit of a perfectionist, which was good for me )

#4 - The hardware kit was missing the little tabs that you slide into the bumper (for the lip brackets to mount onto). No big deal, as I had some lying around from my previous Hondas. Also, I remember it didn't have the four self-tapping screws that are used for the backside of the lip, where it meets the wheel well.

I think that was about it. Please keep in mind that I purchased this back in 2003, when there weren't many OEM-replica lips around. The earlier copies (like mine) fit like shit, and took some time/effort to look right. The only reason I got it is because I couldn't justify spending 350+ dollars on a lip that would more than likely get scraped and pitted. Instead, I spent about 80 bucks on the lip, and another 60 bucks for the labor to get it prepped/painted/installed.

I still have it today, and it looks like shit from all the road debris and scrapes that it's endured. Early next year my car's going in for a makeover, and I'm just going to have the lip repainted as it's held up just fine over the years. This time, I think I'll make sure to have the whole front end clearbra'd and install a Coastal Metals lip guard.

^^^^ I did the same thing and had my whole front end done recently and had it clear bra'd. Got the clear bra from Ebay and installed myself, lol. Saved about a few hundred dollars. Still rocking the ebay lip btw

Difficult no, PITA yes! All I did was fenders and bumper. Fenders were easy since there is not much curvation. The bumper was not fun. Me and a buddy of mine took about 4 hours to install.

[QUOTE=9kred,Oct 22 2008, 02:15 AM]Speaking of ebay stuff, check out this item. Amuse replica bumper for $288!!! I called the vendor today asking them about it, if i could get more pictures of the actual item and not just the picture that's on there. Went on their website and couldn't find it on there just ebay. A girl answered and was really nice, gave her my email she said she was gonna try and get some pictures for me. Received the email saying that she was unable to get any pictures for me. Called her again, she called the guys that make the items for them and they said they make it as you order so they do not have any at the moment. I just went on ebay to look it up again found out that the "Item has ended". Why the hell did they take it off the same day as the day i called about it? If they would make it for me at that price but show me some pictures of it to prove that the fitment is OK i would get it instantly!
