Default Ebay AP2 lip? Anyone?

Has anyone purchased this lip? http://www.ebay.com/itm/180762991918...S:1123&vxp=mtr

I bought it as a "winter lip" til I get an OEM one.. however, this lip does NOT fit. one side fits, the other will BARELY reach.. I can get it to though. However, the middle of the lip is just THERE lol. it goes under the bumper, there is NO WAY to position it onto the bumper. I called them and told them they gave me the wrong lip or something but it does not fit. They told me to "take it to a professional" or "use a heat gun" then he told me its a straight fit, no need to use a heat gun or take it to a professional.

anyone use/have this lip? please let me know.

same lip fit pretty good for being as cheap as it was
but what i did to get it on was put on one side of the lip have somebody hold that side in place and slide the other side of the lip up from the bottom. fits very snug
hope that helps

i have same lip from different seller but i figured after numerous tries that u have to remove bumper and mount lip securely to bumper before u mount back 2 car. easiest way!

Made the same mistake with my ap1 lip. They dont really mention it in the auction but you just for it with a hair dryer. shaping its a headache, next lip im going to make sure it doesnt come in a smaller box.

I got the same lip from Xcess motors...
I paid $75, but they are now up to $85.
It came in a full size box, not folded or twisted up. The lip itself is fit tight, but had a nice thick flat section on the bottom of the lip that added some strength to the lip.
Since it wasn't folded or twisted, I was able to mount it up pretty easily, although it helped having another set of hands. Best way was to jack the front of the car up, slide one side up near the wheel well, then have your helper slide up the other side near the wheel well... then work towards the middle.

The bolts they give were too short, but, I had plenty of 10mm bolts and nuts.

I'm dumb LOL. the lip should fit.

Fusion, thanks for posting the picture, I realized only the bottom of the lip is suppose to cover alittle of the middle, not all the way. I'll try it on tomorrow.

thanks man and thanks to everyone else also.
