Default How to install front lip by myself?

Few days ago, I bought a front lip from ebay user baysonr
When it came, it wasnt in original shape, so I had to use hair dryer to put in original shape
I was planning to paint it tomorrow and install the lip over the weekend, so I test fit the lip into my S2000.
I could not fit it the first try, but after I put my left side and forced the lip, the lip was fit good, but left side was little bit lifting.
I was going to put 3M tape on the lip and attach it to the car, but if I had to force the lip to make it perfectly fit, all the tape will attach to the car first and i won't be able to fit the lip perfectly.
So what should I do?

Have the same lip on my car, all i did was use the 3M tap along the front of the lip and used the 4 screw that came with the lip in the wheel wells.

Get someone to help you when you put it on. Slide one side on but don't slide it up so much that the 3m touches. Then have your buddy hold that in place and get the other side on. Then slide the whole thing up and add screws. Don't be afraid to pull on it as it's rubber and you won't hurt anything.

3m doesnt seem that strong when you just put it on but
once it heats up from weather and cools down its freaking strong, so dont be sketched out
thinking it will fall off.
but it your kinda scared get a hair dryer on the 3m and warm it up befor placeing it on the bumper

I wouldn't even dare to attempt to put my front lip on the car while the bumper was still intact, so what I did was remove the bumper itself. It took about 8 whole minutes to remove the bumper and then bam! easy installation.

you might want to get a helping hand to help you line up the lip and fitment when you are ready to tape it on.

Just follow the directions. The lip can be applied either with the bumper on or off the car, your choice.

Just follow those directions I said in those links and you can do it no problem. If it isn't fitting right, then heat is your main answer. You should easily be able to install it yourself. Let it heat up, then put it on by putting the 2 screws in each fender well to hold the edges on, and the lip shouls stay on. Then you can easily pullt it down some and you can put some of the 3M tape along it. Also clean the surface very well with alcohol, and if it is really cold outside or in your garage, heat it up as well and it will stick better. Once you put the tape you can pull on the lip a little bit and it will make a small gap between the lip and bumper, and you can slide it over the tape, line it up how you want it, and push on the lip for a good couple minutes. Then you should be good to go.

He has an ebay lip bud, the hardware is completely different, and those instructions wont really help. The ebay hardware is crap and nobody uses it anyways, thats why everyone including me uses the 3M tape, and the screws in the inner fender well to install these.
