Default ebay catch cans

looking at universal catch cans for the track. ebay has plenty under $30 shipped with the understanding you will need to get better lines and possibly a better mounting bracket for install. still well under the $150+ cost of other s2000 specific jdm brands that aren't much different.

just wondering which ones you guys were using or which ebay guys to deal with.

i was looking at this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=150417796490

i send the guy an email asking if its 9mm or 15mm sizing.

catch cans like that typically are not baffled which is what you would want.

I read in a few places that even the Greddy catch can doesnt have baffles inside. Lame.

just about all jdm catch cans aren't baffled either. hence why the ebay ones are just about the same as everything else out there.

i don't do heavy tracking either though, it'll just be recreational so this works fine

not on an ap2, but it helps on an ap1 for track. a baffled would certainly be more helpful, but no one makes one of those really.

You don't need baffles. My thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=14173304

No baffles, no oil making it through the hoses even with very vigorous autocross maneuvers on R-compound tires. It looks like the Vibrant can is no longer available, but realistically any can will work.

i'm just curious about the 9mm vs. 15mm hoses. is one better than the other? i'm guessing the difference isn't too crazy in all likelihood.
