I also have a BaysonR rep lip on my AP1 & it has surprisingly lasted longer than I've expected. Fitment was about a 7/10, but it's for a track car so whatever. I've hit cones during autocross plenty of times. Probably @ 60+ on corner exit on track 3 or 4 times. Had a couple driveway incidents with it as well. This is my 3rd summer with it now. Lip has just taken the abuse and hasn't broken yet. Looks good from about 15ft. away. Once it does finally get destroyed I'll be getting another for sure.

Roughly what have you guys paid to get your lip painted? Did you have it done at local paint shops, or find someone locally?

Sound like the front bumper lip has some inconsistent experiences depending on the seller...

BaysonR sound like they make a nice replica... Does the BaysonR lip come with everything needed for the installation? Are the screw points matched up with existing S2000 screw holes? Is 3M tape required, and if so, does BaysonR include it?

How far off is the quality between the replica and the OEM? I am getting some body work (and paint work) done on my car in the next month, so now would probably be a good time for me to get this painted and installed...

I have the oem replica lip and spoiler.. if you get the spoiler from OEM thing.. it comes with 3m tape and I was VERY happy... fitment was 10/10 and color match was 9/10 on my pearl blue/ as for the lip. baysonR lip is as good as your going to gets.. screws included and all matches up. He includes the 3m tape as well but honestly i never put it on because hte fitment was good.. an absolute MUST with the lip is to buy the moulding tape. it hides ALL the gaps and makes it look 10/10 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/OEM-Honda-Civ...3D381300744712. I'm not trying to sway you against the OEM versions. but the cost vs what your getting isn't there in my opinion. others may disagree.

Thanks s2kdarren! Any chance you could provide some photos of your ride, including close-ups of your aftermarket spoiler and lip? Please also include a full car shot too...love to see what you've done to your car!
