Default Engine management options

ive been looking into some management systems and i definately want to have full control of the timing as well as fuel. i wont be tuning it but i really like a standalone system but the greddy ultimate doesnt sound bad for the price. i dont think that hondata or aem has systems out for the 08 dbw's??? or do they? would the greddy ultimate work on my car?

any opinions on management systems are greatly appreciated, thank you

IIRC aem ems came out with a harness for the 06-07+ it should work. idk how well it would work with dbw though..

Hondata reflash...? That's my route when the extra loot is in the bank. Toda version seems the way to go.

does anyone know of anybody with aem ems with a drive by wire?

also hondata reflash? is this something a hondata tuner must do? require a hondata management system? or r u talking of some basic map reflash?

im very interested i feel, engine management must be the next mod i do. so apexi vafc wont work with dbw?

Apexi VAFC will work, but you'll only be able to take and give it more fuel. You can also adjust Vtec if you want to.

It can't do anything for timing though so its not what you want.

the vafc could possible be a cheap solution even though it doesnt adjust timing Is there anyway possible to run boost just tuning with a vafc or will it end in a disaster? i am glad to hear the vafc will work with drive-by-wire though.
the hondata reflash seems decent but i rather spend that money on a management system that i can tune over and over with every upgrade and mod to the engine.
anybody have any definate word on any aem system that will work on the 08?

the ecu will learn your mods. Hondata reflash is a good option. look on their site or read the threads in this forum.
