Default Exhaust

What do you guys think? I was thinking about the Greddy Evo2 but I've just started to think about moding the ride so I haven't done much research.

What other modifications do you plan on in the future? If you are considering forced induction, you will want to go with a larger pipe diameter.

there are ups and downs to each one. don't expect massive power gains from any of them though...

sorry to hijack this thread, but im looking for an exhuast, that sounds noticeablely louder than stock, light (surely all will be lighter than stock), and performance gain for low-mid.

dont want too loud cause my car is tuned more for audio than performance

any suggestions for this criterias?

INVIDIA V2. the V3 has bigger piping but it sounds real sloppy compared to the V2. if you're tuning more for audio then performance, the Invidia V2 is the way to go.

^^ I think he means audio as in he wants to be able to hear his stereo.

If that's the case...Invidia is the LAST exhaust you want to consider. It is extremely loud (louder than some singles) and has a good deal of drone in the 3000-4000rpm range.

For a dual, the T1R Sparrow is nice. The 70mm Sparrow isn't necessary if you aren't going FI in the future...the 63mm will be quieter. Many also like the HKS exhaust for a dual. Many think it sounds the best, but it is almost as heavy as stock and some have seen performance losses with it (but usually not much of a loss).

For a single the J's 60RS or the Amuse Extra Titan are the quietest I've ever heard. The J's 60RS being slightly quieter and less expensive.

While not to many people talk about the Magnaflow exhaust for the S2000, i love mine, its got what i feel to be a very nice tone, it is louder than stock by far, there is some drone in the cabin, and it is much much ligher than stock plus is looks amazing on the car. I have gotten nothing but complements on my magnaflow exhaust and it was cheap as well. I paid $600 new for it. It has a deep grawly sound under vtec, once vtec engages the grawl goes away and you just hear the engine open up. I couldnt be happier to go with a magnaflow and something not more mainstream like the HKS.

if he is talkin about his stereo system, i agree with you. i suggested the Invidia because he said he wants something noticeable louder than stock
