Since this is a wide open exhaust question, let me ask my version.

I've got a quick release trailer hitch on my car, in particular, this one:

As you can probably see in the second to last picture on the bottom right, the mounting plates sit very, very close to the rear-facing "faces" of the factory muffler cans. So, I know it's kind of an esoteric problem, but I'll ask anyway. Any recommendations for an exhaust whose exterior dimensions and layout closely mirror the factory AP2 system?

BTW, already tried a Magnaflow cat back. Didn't fit - the muffler cans interfered with the hitch mounts and I ended up unable to use the Magnaflow.

 

berk technologies just put one out for $1200. 57mm dual, 8hp gain, titanium so much lighter than stock. it has burnt ti tips.
