i HATE TO SAY BUT THE T1R HAS PROOVEN (FU#K, CAPS SORRY), time and time again to be one of the best. Although if you want to sc or tc later on, yould 100% want a 70mm which is still gonna be loud as snot although they make a ti exhaust with test pipe that nets you near 14-16whp, thats AMAZING.

T1R product for this!
ever heard of the backspace button?

but yes, i'd have to agree the T1R is a better option than the invidia.

Invidia should come with a complimentary set of ear plugs, that thing is insanely loud...

The difference between TI and stainless is the weight mainly, titanium exhausts can weigh as low as 8 pounds. Stock exhaust is about 60. 70mm will be the best for power but also the loudest. HKS in my opinion is the best sounding exhaust for the car but alot of people claim it loses power, but ive never seen one dyno to prove it. Just a rumor.

Sound clips/videos are completely useless. They always sound different in person. I would definitely only buy an exhaust after you have actually been in a car using it to hear it in person.

Post in your local s2ki forum and find out where the s2k guys meet up. See if any of them have an invidia and take a ride in their car...both top up & down and ask them to drive at several different cruise rpms. The invidia has terrible drone from 3-4k rpm. But many who own them are in denial and love them. I had one...it got really old quick...swapped for a single T1R 63mm that was quieter with less drone.

If you want something that is not too overbearing but adds nice extra sound, the T1R Sparrow is a good dual. But I wouldn't buy it until you go FI so you can get the 70mm version.

Otherwise, a good all around single for na and FI is the J's 70mm RS (not the RR...that is waaay loud). It is very expensive though, but it is very light since it is Ti.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm still wondering if the Invidia has silencers?

Let me know, that will be a big deciding point.

The Invidia comes with silencers but I think they sound terrible with them. You do know that Invidia is a wholly owned subsidiary of a hearing aid company?

And the silencers are pretty useless too...and rob enough power to where I could feel it with the butt dyno.

Thats for sure. I put them in to have conversations while driving and it robbed enough power that I never put them in again, after about a month of droning around town I sold the exhaust for something more civil

So the silencers don't muffle the sound much and end up robbing power?

Ok well thats good info to have. What catback would you recomend that is a dual?

Thanks again!

I wouldn't bother with an exhaust until you go FI. Then the T1R Sparrow 70mm is what I would recommend.

Until then, any dual you get would just be for sound modification and not for performance or weight reduction.
