ive been wondering this for a while..does it really make a diff whether the exhaust system is a single brand(complete engine back) like J's, Toda, or T1R or if u mix it up wit like a j's racing header, highflow cat, and say invidia? jst curious about tht...looking forward to hearing some feedback..thanx

probably keeping constant size through out would be more important

 

as long as the test pipe is the same diameter as the exhaust and you buy a good header i don't think mixing it up will hinder performance. i think the j's header would go nice with the j's 70rr or the t1r 70rt or 70r v3

 

, you can mix brands, just keepinf the diameters the same is what you need to look for. Otherwise you have a bottle neck in your exhaust.

Keeping it constant diameter is you need to keep in mind..as long as you dont have bottle neck effect, its all good
also you can consider material as well... like Ss vs titanium..
