You have it all wrong. Do some searching this has been covered thousands of times.

The highest HP producing header is the J's racing header. I have the berk header and havent noticed any gains. Lots of people say it loses power. And I just cant trust megan. Save up for J's.

Test pipe hands down. I picked up 7whp and decent weight savings with the berk test pipe. And built in CEL fix.

All those exhausts are crap besides the T1R.

IMO the best setup for horsepower is the j's header with the 70mm j's header back. Should be good for probably 20whp. It wont be cheap but you will get the most gains.

T1R is also good. I have the 63mm single and it sounds great, lost tons of weight and im sure theres some power there, havent gotten it dynod. But im guessing I should be around 218-220whp.

Eek, I dont know about the "HKS Hi-Power" being a crap exhaust, nor the 20WHP gain with J's. While it very well may be the best power-producing combo, that is a lot for our car with bolt on's, and Ive never once seen a dyno proven 20whp gain with bolt ons. The HKS people get for sound, and someone recently just supplied a dyno-proven power adding by it (albeit a small one, but at least it doesnt lose power). Ive heard nothing bad about the Js header, so I cant argue there.

I agree with you. I wouldn't say the HKS is "crap". Plus, the OP looks to be clearly on a budget so telling him to go all out J's probably isn't an option for him. He's looking to get the most gains on HIS budget.

If you're looking for power and not concerned with volume, definitley go with a single (they are louder then most duals). Do some research on the Header (i think there is an entire thread) to find out which will acheive what you are looking for on your budget.

But as stated above, you're not going to get MONSTER gains from the exhaust system alone. You can get decent gains with a complete exhaust system and then some tuning on the dyno. But then you're spending more money again....The Mod bug can be a nasty one for the wallet on this car

I saw someone else post that, "The S2000 is a down-payment on mods". Oh so true.

There are no NA mods that you can call "high" hp. There are also no NA mods that hp/$ are high hp.

Moreover, with the retard answers you get from certain people, you are surely going to get shoved in the wrong direction.

With a decent header/testpipe/exhaust, you might get 15wheel PEAK hp. This translates to....absolutely nothing in the real world.

That's why anyone who is deciding on their mods should do their own research behind the scenes and decide what meets their needs at their own budget. Starting a thread like this will RARELY get you the answers you're looking for...
