your car originally came with duals.
I have a single on my AP2. I like the way it looks (T1-R EM) and the weight savings/power gains over a dual make sense.
Generally the single outlet exhausts will gain a little more power. Most people buy the single outlets for weight savings and the sound. Keep in mind, weight savings alone are extremely beneficial, as saving weight improves all aspects of a car's performance... acceleration, handling and braking!

And it's a foolish aesthetic feature of the car. The car has a 4 cylinder with one header that merges into one pipe. It does not need duals.

if that were the case the CR would come single instead of dual. the CR is mostly a weight reduction of the ap2....

Does anyone have visual proof where a single exit exhaust out performs a dual exit exhaust?
The more posts I read stating that makes it sound like the placebo effect to me.

I can however prove that one muffler weighs less than two.
