Single if only for weight savings, then add on improved looks to boot.

your car originally came with duals.
And it's a foolish aesthetic feature of the car. The car has a 4 cylinder with one header that merges into one pipe. It does not need duals.

I have a single on my AP2. I like the way it looks (T1-R EM) and the weight savings/power gains over a dual make sense.

Generally the single outlet exhausts will gain a little more power. Most people buy the single outlets for weight savings and the sound. Keep in mind, weight savings alone are extremely beneficial, as saving weight improves all aspects of a car's performance... acceleration, handling and braking!

if that were the case the CR would come single instead of dual. the CR is mostly a weight reduction of the ap2....

yeah but then they'd have to design a new rear bumper which we all know costs major $$$. although, i'd have to be honest.. if honda made the CR with a single i'd buy the bumper. singles weigh less, make more power, and its only logical that an inline 4 would have only one exhaust.

Does anyone have visual proof where a single exit exhaust out performs a dual exit exhaust?
The more posts I read stating that makes it sound like the placebo effect to me.

Have you ever seen a huge HP gain from any exhaust?

I can however prove that one muffler weighs less than two.
