Default Exhaust Guru's please chime in...

ok well heres the thing guys.... im currently running an invida dual v3 and am looking to switch it up to a single ... (drone is very annoying) and to make a lil more power and im just undecided on which one to choose...
my choices are
1. invida 70mm single. $500
2. t1r 70r Stainless single $1000

car will be getting tuned with flashpro with full intake header test pipe and exhaust...

just wanted to know what your opinons on these 2 choices

Single is more likely to drone than the dual I believe. Seems like all the 70mm singles make the same power too so I'd just pick the one you like the look of best.

I'd go with the greddy spectrum elite single 70mm. The single does drone a little bit more but that can be fixed with some dynamat that doesn't weigh more than 7 lbs. I'm loving my 3" Megan though. It sounds like a friggin race car. It even sounds good with the silencer in. Very deep low tone. My friend with an si got flash pro. That thing is sick. With the laptop in the car I felt like I was in Brians eclipse from the first fast and furious. "DANGER TO MANIFOLD!"

Trust me singles drone way more than a dual. Iv had personal experience. Honestly for the price, you might as well go get the HKS 75mm single. Largest exhaust piping available on a system for our cars and it sounds very nice. It even has minimal drone for a great price, very afforadable. http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant...da_S2000_Intake

Its a brand new exhaust so I dont think anyone has even had time to dyno one. Alot of people have been arguing about it and NA applications. The 2 people iv already seen install it on this forum are NA. Im pretty sure you would make good power with it, even NA.

*for the $1000 and under singles i've ran or heard, the following exhausts have little to no drone:

T1R 70R-EM Single (owned and loved)
GReddy / Go Tuning Spectrum Elite Single Exhaust (local member currently running)

*for the $1000 and up price range
ASM 60 / 70

the hks 75mm looks great but im not a fan of the piping diameter and angled exit.
gl with your search!
